Welcome to the Rich Returns Feature Roundup - your quarterly guide to everything new with the Rich Returns product.

If you’re a long-standing member of our community, you might notice a few changes in our appearance. That’s because 2024 sees Rich Returns rebranded. 

We’ve got a fresh new look and a new website that better reflects our values. It’s modern, responsive, and designed with the end user in mind. 

More than just a rebrand, it’s also a commitment to growth. The front page to our work behind the scenes, all designed to improve your Rich Returns experience.

So with that in mind, here’s a look at our key product updates for Q1. 

Stripe Integration: Streamline Your Exchange Payments 

First up, we’re taking the pain out of exchange payments. Whether it’s refunds or additional charges, when there’s a price difference involved in an exchange, things get complicated. 

That’s why we’ve built a seamless integration with Stripe. 

No more back-and-forth trying to settle payments outside of Rich Returns. Now, when a customer wants to swap for a more expensive item, they’ll be charged the price difference directly at the point of exchange. You can also charge shipping label costs if required. 

For even more convenience, we’ve updated our refund logic. So now, if there’s a positive balance, you can reimburse the customer there and then via our Shopify Refund API. 

No more headaches or confusion. Just a straightforward exchange process that keeps everyone happy.

ResolutionHub: Centralize Returns Management

There are too many steps involved in returns resolution. So we’ve taken them away.

Before, you’d have to jump through hoops. Perhaps you were navigating multiple screens. Or maybe you relied on external customer support to make changes for you. Not anymore. 

With ResolutionHub, you can manage return resolutions right within your dashboard.

All you need to do is flip a checkbox in your Return General Settings. You’ll then be able to assign a resolution to any pending return in a couple of clicks. It gives you more control, whilst saving time and resources.

Customer Incentives: Encourage Exchanges and Store Credit Over Refunds

Are refunds hitting your cash flow? Check out the new Customer Incentives feature - the smart way to reduce refunds, and keep more money in your business. 

This is a game-changing update. It allows you to award a fixed amount or percentage bonus to any customer who chooses store credit or an exchange over a refund. 

You have a lot of cool controls here too. Like setting the incentive to appear only after a customer has clicked the refund option. You can also set a time limit for them to claim, adding urgency to the mix.

Why is this a game-changer? Because it drives revenue while building loyalty. By giving them a reason to choose refund alternatives, you keep customers coming back to your store and boost your bottom line in the process.
