Welcome back to the Rich Returns Feature Roundup, where we dive into our latest product updates, giving you an inside look at the tools and improvements we’ve been working on.

Q3 has been packed with some exciting new features designed to simplify your returns management, offer greater flexibility, and improve customer experience.

We’re always listening to feedback from our community, and it’s your insights that inspire these improvements. So, without further ado, let’s walk through the updates we’ve rolled out this quarter – plus a sneak peek at what’s coming in Q4.

Prepaid Return Labels: Making Returns Effortless

Managing returns just got a lot easier with our new Prepaid Return Labels feature.

We know that convenience is key when it comes to keeping your customers happy, and this update does just that.

Merchants now have the ability to offer prepaid return labels as an option during the return flow.

This means customers can print their labels immediately, reducing the back-and-forth that can sometimes slow down the return process.

For merchants, this eliminates the hassle of managing labels externally and ensures a smooth return experience from start to finish. It’s all about making returns more practical and seamless for everyone involved.

Bulk Label Re-generation: Save Time on Label Errors

Errors happen – but fixing them shouldn’t be a time-consuming task. We’ve introduced the ability to re-generate return labels in bulk.

This feature allows merchants to quickly address any label failures or errors, and reissue labels for multiple returns at once.

Instead of handling each label issue individually, you can now manage them all in one go, saving valuable time and ensuring a faster return process.

Shopify Collection in Advanced Rules: Customized Returns for Collections

Returns aren’t a one-size-fits-all process, and we understand that merchants need flexibility when it comes to handling different product lines.

That’s why we’ve updated Advanced Rules to include the ability to set return rules for specific Shopify collections.

Whether it’s seasonal items, specific product groups, or exclusive collections, this update gives you more control over how returns are managed across your entire store.

You can now tailor your returns process to meet the unique needs of different products, making the experience better for both you and your customers.

New Carrier Integrations: Shippo & UPS

Shipping flexibility is a major part of returns, so we’ve been working to improve our carrier integrations.

This quarter, we rolled out significant updates for Shippo, allowing merchants to pull a tailored list of carriers specific to their accounts.

This ensures that merchants can manage shipping with the most relevant carriers for their needs.

Additionally, we’re excited to announce our first direct carrier integration with UPS.

This marks a significant milestone, opening the door for more local carrier integrations in the near future.

With UPS, merchants can handle returns through a trusted and widely used shipping service, ensuring faster and more reliable logistics.

Customer Notes in Advanced Rules

Our Advanced Return Rules continue to evolve, offering more customization options for merchants.

One of the newest additions is the ability to create rules based on customer notes.

This means you can now personalize the return experience even further by adjusting processes based on customer feedback or special requests.

Out-of-Stock Prevention

We’ve also added a crucial feature for managing stock levels – out-of-stock prevention.

Merchants can set minimum stock quantities to avoid approving returns for products that might leave inventory levels too low.

This helps protect your stock and prevents inventory issues that could impact your business.

Auto-Exchanges: Simplified and Streamlined

Exchanges can sometimes require a lot of manual input, but with our new Auto-Exchanges feature, that’s a thing of the past.

Merchants can now automate the exchange process, removing the need for manual approval or intervention.

This allows for faster exchanges and a smoother customer experience overall, reducing friction and admin time for your team.

Reports and Exports by Email: Stay Updated

Tracking your return data has never been easier with our new Reports and Exports by Email feature.

This update allows merchants to schedule automated reports and export data directly to their inbox. Whether you need daily, weekly, or monthly insights, you can now stay informed without having to log into your dashboard every time.

It’s all about keeping your finger on the pulse of your returns, with the information you need just an email away.

A Sneak Peek at What’s Coming in Q4

As always, we’re not slowing down. We’ve got some exciting features lined up for Q4 that we can’t wait to share.

Here’s a quick look at what’s coming soon:

  • Shopify Mobile App Integration: Rich Returns will soon be available on the Shopify mobile app, making returns management even more accessible for merchants on the go.
  • Merchant Panel UI Revamp: We’re revamping the Merchant Panel interface to improve navigation and make managing returns faster and easier.
  • Multiple Carrier Support: Merchants will soon have the ability to work with more than one carrier at once, offering greater flexibility in shipping options.

Wrapping Up Q3

Q3 has been an exciting quarter of growth and improvement for Rich Returns.

From more flexible return rules and enhanced carrier integrations to automated exchanges and bulk label management, these updates are all designed to make your returns process smoother and more efficient.

We hope you’re as excited about these updates as we are, and we can’t wait to bring you even more in the coming months.
